Mangalam, one of the new dailies in Malayalam dons a new garb and new typefaces.

Mathrubhumi, the second largest selling daily in Malayalam wanted to shed its conservative and decadent design and was raring to go. Based on the discussions with the editorial board, a new design was developed for the daily and its supplements, with supplements clearly colour-coded.
We also redesigned their antique typefaces which were made to look younger and contemporary, saving much space in the process.
