| The largest book publishing comapny in Kerala, D C Books have 4000+ titles to their credit, primarily in Malayalam with a few in English. Unfortunately each book was designed in a different style and seen together they never looked as if they same from the same stable. |
| In 2001, we developed a Publishing Standards document for them to standardise the visual aspect of their publishing business. We made templates for their covers, spines, flaps, front matter pages, content pages, backmatter pages etc, and specified typefaces, their sizes and usage norms. Adhering to these norms D C Books publications have become one of the most well-produced books in the country winning many an award annually. |
